Once You See Your Worth

When Augustus said, "Oblivion is inevitable" I felt it.

Self-worth, self-respect, self-love. All mean the same thing. Accepting yourself for who you are. Yet at the same time, it's easier said than done. Being beige is never one's choice. Rather an order. Rather an inevitable way of life. Trying to change that is just a shout-out into the deep dark abyss of insecurities. Even if you somehow manage to free yourself of that monstrous force, it manages to pull you back in. Even when you try to give a little spark in your life, it never manages to ignite a flame. It's a circle of life really.

Most of the time, it feels like you're on the bench waiting to be called but the game never goes your way. It's like, you're just a pawn. You know what, scratch that. Even a pawn has considerable significance.

It's like we're always the ones who go unnoticed in everyday life. For better or worse, it happens. We aren't memorable, but rather the filler characters of yet another protagonist's story. Some people might care to watch but it never puts an impact on the story, nor on the life of another viewer. It's like we're just put there to fill up some leftover space.

As if we're just here to live our lives that are quite ordinary in fact, with some complimentary qualities in hopes of spicing it up. Every soul might be unique but at the end of the day how unique are they?

Yet again, maybe I'm just exaggerating. Maybe, the fear of being boring that I hold so dear might just turn out to be irrational. After all, it's all about assumption at the end of the day. The truth isn't ever static in this world. That's the beaty of it.
